Mind Pool

One discovery I made about myself since I started blogging is how my perspective about myself differs from most people.  For me, so called self is like a cat sitting on a wall that separates the real world from the inner world.  When I look at myself, I am looking down onto a community of emotions that interacts with each other like balls on a pool table.

When something happens that affects my inner world, I am sitting on the wall watching the balls move and bounce off walls or collide with other balls.  Under high emotion though, the cat will jump onto the table and become a large fast moving ball that knocks everything out of its path.  Watch out!

Don, doesn't your wife nag you for spending too much time on the computer? That's one more reason I don't want to live with a woman, actually. I like using the computer 5 or more hours per day - more on a rainy weekend. It's caused many problems with me and ex's too. I just prefer to use the computer and then get a little action once in a while.
Good question. The trick is to find one who doesn't. As to spending too much time on the computer, I have to because I make my living using computers. While I appear to be blogging all the time, that's just because I blog when I am taking a break from designing, coding, or testing. When I add it all up, it comes to around 1 hour of blogging time per day.
Hahaha...I see. Pehaps I should just find an apartment next to a "barber shop" and my life will be complete.
What do you think other people's perspective of self is, in contrast, then?
I think most people's perspective of self from somewhere within or itself instead of on the border or the surface.

Thats true, but with everyone else there's different layer's to one's perpective of self. some deep, other's on the surface.
