It's the first 7 days that was the most intolerated. you had made it, you certainly can go through it.

I am goint to start on april 12

I stopped smoking a little more than 4 weeks ago. I still get irritated very easily - maybe it's perfectly normal and it's going to stay like that, we were just abnormally chilled when smoking :-)

Egad. What a thought.

Good luck to you on this hardest of habits. I quit smoking cigs about 14 months ago, weed about 2 months ago and have begun a jihad against salt and trans-fats that's in it's third week. I guess you never quite run out of things to quit (especially as you get older), but like steven tyler of aerosmith said, once you quit drugs, there's lots more time for sex and rock n' roll.

Just remember, you don't have to think about a lifetime of not smoking, just that you're only going to skip the next smoke.
